Dream Brush is an interactive installation that explores how embodied writing can guide generative image creation. Instead of prompting AI through text interfaces, participants use a traditional calligraphy brush and water to write logograms on a physical canvas. Each gesture becomes both a word and a compositional instruction, which the system transforms into evolving East Asian painting motifs accompanied by sound.

The project investigates how generative systems can reconnect with cultural practices of writing and painting, allowing meaning, gesture, and spatial composition to emerge together through physical interaction.
