The installation Three Body explores the evolving nature of social relationships through a physical, interactive experience inspired by the Three Body Problem in physics and chaos theory. Just as childhood forts and hangouts reflect shifting social circles, Conflux creates a tent-like structure layered with personal mementoes to represent intimate social spaces. Participants influence and are influenced by others in the space, becoming part of a dynamic social network modeled as an n-body system.

By submitting reflections on close relationships, participants trigger changes in the environment—such as ambient music and visual projections of network trajectories—creating a feedback loop. These projections, viewable inside the tent and on participants' phones, illustrate how personal interactions ripple outward and intersect with others.

The project highlights two key ideas: the impact of external forces (like societal expectations and technology) on personal bonds, and the tension between predictability and chaos in human relationships. Ultimately, Conflux invites visitors to consider how small actions shape their communities and fosters deeper empathy through shared social resonance.
